Bob is really Dr. Who.

I finally have proof that Bob is Dr. Who. He has changed from a phone booth to a bus stop, but it's unmistakeable.
I drove by here four times a day for several months. Talk about a reminder!

That explains everything. ;-)

I love where you work - my kind of country.

We nearly landed in Eureka, but continued north a ways before settling. My wife's sister lives there; nice country! Yes, once you come to OC, you see the B'ob's influence even at rustic bus stops! And the locals cannot suspect what goes on in the Raccoon mind!

Magnificent vistas. Am I correct in assuming that I'm seeing a one lane road for logging trucks only?

I've recently driven on roads like that with similar vistas in Mexico. We shared the roadway with every conceivable kind of stock -not all of it rolling on wheels. :0

mizze,

It's a county road open to the public. There are mile markers, so that you can call out on a CB radio where you are. I have had to back up several times when meeting someone in a narrow spot. I usually back up because some people are so scared, I'm afraid they will panic and back over the edge. The logging roads I drive on are dirt roads, sometimes narrower and steeper but without regular traffic. Those are limited to the loggers and truck drivers. There is also deer, cattle and the occasional mountain lion, plus birds and squirrels.

Thanks everyone for visiting and commenting.
